Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Arusha.
Depart from your hotel in the morning then cross to Tanzania via Namanga Border point, arriving in Arusha for lunch as well as check- in at The Impala Hotel. Afternoon can be spent on Arusha city tour as well as visit coffee plantations around Arusha. Dinner and overnight at The Impala Hotel (Lunch & Dinner).

Day 2: Arusha – Ngorongoro National Park.
Early morning breakfast followed by a drive to Ngorongoro Crater conservation Area via Mto Wa Umbu and Lake manyara observation point. Later proceed for early lunch as well as check in. Afternoon descends to the floor of the crater (13.00 Hrs) by a Safari Jeep for game viewing in this unique park. Search and spot Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Leopard, Cheetahs, Buffaloes and Hippos. Then return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (Full board). 

Day 3: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park.
Early morning breakfast then drive to Serengeti National Park, with afternoon game drives on the plains of Serengeti. This is the home to wildebeests (Gnu) zebras, lions, cheetahs, leopards and different birds. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Serengeti Serena Lodge, (Full board).

Day 4: Serengeti National Park.
Spend the whole day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Experience the undisturbed nature in this famous game park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Serengeti Serena Lodge ,(Full board).

Day 5: Serengeti – Lake Manyara National Park.
Breakfast at the lodge. Then drive to Lake Manyara National Park arriving for lunch as well as check-in. Take an afternoon rest before you start an afternoon game drives; see the famous tree climbing lions, Hippos, Elephants as well as different kinds of birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge (Full board).
                                    
Day 6: Lake Manyara – Tarangire – Arusha – Nairobi.
After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park with game viewing en route until lunchtime. Check-in at the lodge and have rest. Then engage on an afternoon game drive that gives you a chance to see different kinds of wildlife including Jumbo Elephants. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge or Tarangire Sopa Lodge (Full board).

Day 7: Tarangire – Arusha – Nairobi.
Early morning breakfasts, then drive across Tanzania-Kenya border with lunch stop (Lunch Box) on the way to Nairobi, arriving in the early evening in Nairobi. Transfer to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, (Breakfast & lunch).

• Optional excursions like a boat ride at Lake Manyara.
• Optional excursions like a visit to Olduvai Gorge Museum

Tour Cost

Payment Policy
– booking fee: 30% 7 days after confirmation of the booking
– balance and full payments to be paid 25 days prior to safari starting date.
– Booking confirmed within 25 days to the tour starting date should be paid in full.

Ashford Tours is not liable for the progress of any booking incase of non-compliance of the above payment conditions. We recommend that you secure your booking with a deposit of 30% of the tour fees within 7 days of confirmation. The balance of payment is due 25 days prior to the tour starting date. Upon receipt of full payment, Ashford Tours will issue all relevant travel documents.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a confirmed booking, a cancellation fee will apply. A cancellation is only possible if communicated in written form. If you cancel a trip:
• At any time but over 45 days after your booking has been confirmed Ashford Tours and Travel retains 5% non-refundable deposit as administration costs on all services booked with us. We advise you to sign cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation fees.

• Any monies paid will be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels or food expenses and administrative costs as indicated here below;

• If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
