This safari itinerary covers; Amboseli National Park; at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lake Naivasha; famous for boat trip to the lake to view Hippos and different kinds of bird species. Masai Mara Game Reserve; the jewel park of Kenya and Lake Nakuru National Park, which is termed as the home to White and Black Rhinos as well as Flamingos. Experience the rich culture of the Maasai people by visiting one of their Villages (Manyatta).

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; Nairobi – Amboseli.

Pick up from Nairobi hotel or Airport in the early morning. Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park, a drive of less 5 hours to Amboseli, which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive with a short game drive, proceeding to your lodge for check-in and have lunch. Check in at your hotel. Later afternoon more game drives. Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo can be seen at the swamp area. Later dinner and overnight at

Day 2: Amboseli Full day 

Early morning game drive and later return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast full day spent in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to your camp for dinner and overnight at

Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi – Nakuru

Early morning breakfast before departure for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have lunch enroute at Nairobi. Then proceed on to Lake Nakuru for evening game drive. Besides the flamingos that Lake Nakuru is famous for, there are approximately 400 other species of birds found there. In addition, a large variety of game can be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild’s Giraffe, Black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Nakuru Lodge  or Flamingo Hills Camp,

Day 4 – Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve
After a leisure breakfast at your lodge, depart overland to the Masai Mara Game Reserve-jewel of Kenya’s Game Park. This enormous Reserve actually part of the vast Serengeti plains is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo. After lunch, explore the Reserve on a late evening ‘Spice’ game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Sentrim Mara Camp.

Day 5 – Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve
The Masai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Morning and afternoon ‘Spice’ game drives are planned. Large mammals are varied, abundant and easy to see. Residents among the parks mammals are; Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Impala, Zebra, Topi, both the Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelles. Optional hot Air Balloon rides are available on this day at an additional cost. On this final day in the Mara, you also have an opportunity to visit an authentic Masai village. Dinner and overnight at
Mara Sopa Lodge or Sentrim Mara Camp.

Day 6 -Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
Begin today with an early morning ‘Spice’ game drive followed by a complete English breakfast

Payment Policy
– booking fee: 30% within 7 days after confirmation of the booking
– balance and full payments to be paid 25 days prior to safari starting date.
– Booking confirmed within 25 days to the tour starting date should be paid in full.

Ashford Tours is not liable for the progress of any booking incase of non-compliance of the above payment conditions. We recommend that you secure your booking with a deposit of 30% of the tour fees within 7 days of confirmation. The balance of payment is due 25 days prior to the tour starting date. Upon receipt of full payment, Ashford Tours will issue all relevant travel documents.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a confirmed booking, a cancellation fee will apply. A cancellation is only possible if communicated in written form. If you cancel a trip:
• At any time but over 45 days after your booking has been confirmed Ashford Tours and Travel retains 5% non-refundable deposit as administration costs on all services booked with us. We advise you to sign cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation fees.

  • Any monies paid will be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels or food expenses and administrative costs as indicated here below;
