Detailed itinerary

Day1;Nairobi–Amboseli
Pick up from Nairobi hotel or Airport in the early morning. Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park, a drive of less than 5 hours to Amboseli, which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive with a short game drive, proceeding to your lodge for check-in and have lunch. Check in at your hotel. Later afternoon more game drives. Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, and Buffalo can be seen at the swamp area. Later dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge or AA Lodge Amboseli.

Day2-Explore-Amboseli
Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating ‘Spice’ game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast. Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive ‘Spice’ gamedrive.  Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge or AA Lodge Amboseli.

Day2:Amboseli–Nairobi
Early morning game drive and later return to your lodge for Breakfast. After breakfast check out with a short game drive en-route off Amboseli and drive to Nairobi. You will arrive Nairobi in time for lunch. Lunch at carnivore afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.

The tour includes

• Transport by either Safari VAN or a 4×4 Landcruiser as per your choice
• All applicable game Park Entrance fees.
• 2 Nights’ accommodation as indicated in the itinerary.
• Seven meals (2 Breakfast, 3 lunches & 2 Dinner).
• Airport picks up on arrival in Nairobi if required.
• Professional Safari Guide/Driver.
• Guaranteed departures for two or more passengers booking this safari.
• Round trip transport from Nairobi to the designated National Park.
• Pre–tour itinerary document.
• Extensive and unlimited Game drives.
• Excursions & activities as stated in the itinerary
• Bottled drinking water while on board our safari Van/Jeep while on safari

• Pre and post- tour accommodation which can be arranged on request
• The cost of obtaining visa for Kenya.
• Personal Taxes
• Drinks like sodas, water, beer and wines at the hotels and lodges.
• Gratuity for the driver guide, porters and waiter
• Laundry costs, telephone calls and other items of a personal nature
• International flights
• Optional excursions like a visit to Masai Village

Payment Policy
– booking fee: 30% within 7 days after confirmation of the booking
– balance and full payments to be paid 25 days prior to safari starting date.
– Booking confirmed within 25 days to the tour starting date should be paid in full.

Ashford Tours is not liable for the progress of any booking incase of non-compliance of the above payment conditions. We recommend that you secure your booking with a deposit of 30% of the tour fees within 7 days of confirmation. The balance of payment is due 25 days prior to the tour starting date. Upon receipt of full payment, Ashford Tours will issue all relevant travel documents.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a confirmed booking, a cancellation fee will apply. A cancellation is only possible if communicated in written form. If you cancel a trip:
• At any time but over 45 days after your booking has been confirmed Ashford Tours and Travel retains 5% non-refundable deposit as administration costs on all services booked with us. We advise you to sign cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation fees.

• Any monies paid will be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels or food expenses and administrative costs as indicated here below;

• If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
